A very fine pair of quality mahogany Victorian Hall Chairs with an unusual coat of arms to each chair. These chairs provenance is that they were purchased from a sale of items from Greystoke Castle in Penrith Cumbria. The deeply carved backs and fabulous turned legs terminating in splayed feet show off antique furniture making at its best. A very unusual pair of top quality Hall Chairs. Circa 1840
