Fine pair of mid 19th.c. mahogany hall chairs c.1860. Unusual backrests with arched top and pierced centres, carved from single boards with applied raised mouldings. Over tapering seats with canted front corners and moulded edges. Gothic style crenelated apron below the seat and crisp turned and tapering front legs. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
