Pair of Liberty Arts & Crafts Moorish Chairs
A pair of Liberty & Co Arts & Crafts moorish side chairs, made of walnut c1890, having mashrabiya bobbin turnings to the backrest and all four sides, with moorish arched aprons below the seats. Newly and fully upholstered to include webbing and padding to meet with fire regulations, and complete with studded leather seats. In good condition, no loose joints. The mashrabiya bobbins are all complete with nothing missing. Approx measurements for each are:-

I don't buy any items that need major restoration, but any loose joints are re-glued. Occasionally, some items may have small amounts of historic extinct woodworm, never enough to affect the integrity of the item, and is always treated as a matter of course. We try to describe and show our items the best we can, and we use studio lighting which sometimes lightens the colour slightly on some of the furniture. All lamps are rewired and PAT tested. Every item we sell we would have in our home (some of them have been!!) It is impossible to describe every item fully, so please feel free to email or call for more information or any queries you may have. The items will have no major defects but will show signs of normal age related wear and use. I would prefer the items to show its life rather than strip it and re-polish it, as it's only original once!
