Imposing Pair of Late 19th.c Leather Chairs c.1880. Of matching ‘his and hers’ design featuring heavy mahogany frames with a shaped and upholstered backrest topped with a gadrooned cresting rail, over large sprung seats raised on stout turned front legs and brown porcelain and brass castors. Particularly good carved and turned arm supports to the armchair. Excellent condition, recently upholstered in an oxblood hide with brass stud work.
