Here is a stunning quality pair of antique English George I style beech armchairs, constructed in the Edwardian period, circa 1900, which have been newly upholstered in a light grey linen look fabric, to a professional standard, in excellent condition. The armchairs boast a stunning quality upholstered beech frame, upholstered scroll end arms and shaped wings, a splayed seat, set above a bow fronted apron. The armchairs are raised on cabriole shaped front legs, which boast finely carved shell carvings on pad feet, with turned pad feet to the rear. The chairs have been newly and professionally upholstered in a taupe grey linen look fabric, with matching braiding and piping to the frame, as well as traditional hessian backing to the underside. The seats incorporate new English feather, deep filled cushions, finished with double piping, which are extremely comfortable to sit on. The cushions are removable. The cushions sit upon a newly sprung and webbed base, finished with a traditional hessian underside.

This pair of armchairs are in excellent condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges of the beech frame but nothing significant considering the age of the item. The armchairs have been newly upholstered, to a professional standard, in a taupe grey colour linen look material, with matching braiding and piping. The upholstery is therefore clean and free from any marks or damage. The seats incorporate new removable English feather cushions. The cushions are deep-filled and are extremely comfortable to sit. The armchairs incorporate new springs and a newly webbed base, therefore providing excellent seating support. As the armchair frames boast the original polish, they have a fantastic colour and patination this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning they have received. The chairs are solid in joint and ready to use.

Delivery times are usually 1-4 weeks depending on location we aim to deliver the majority of items within 2 weeks. All items are professionally packaged and fully insured in transit, therefore, we can assure you, your items will be securely protected in transit and arrive safely with you.
Once you have purchased an item, we will contact you be email and/or telephone and provide you with a provisional delivery date, in order for you to confirm if it is suitable for you. Once you have confirmed you can accept delivery on the provisional delivery date, we will book the delivery in with our shippers and it then becomes a confirmed delivery date.

A free 14-day “no quibble” returns policy (from the date you receive the item) is available if you are not happy with this item.
