Very attractive pair of George II style parcel gilt mirrors c.1930. Original 19" x 34½" mirror plates with shaped tops and bevelled edges. Slim moulded oak frames topped with an exuberant gilded, carved and pierced frieze featuring exotic birds either side of a floral spray over a rope twist moulding with tassel ends at the shoulders. Carved and pierced brackets at the lower corners of the frames shaped as swans with gilded and painted finish. Some tarnish and shading to the mirrors, otherwise excellent condition.
