A pair of French Gothic Walnut and Leather Library Chairs

These beautiful chairs come with their original embossed leather and brass studded upholstery, they date back to around 1880, the leather is beautifully embossed with primitive Gothic motifs, a fire breathing dragon and other mythical characters
The chairs are made in Walnut, they have a decorative carved top rail and turned spindles below the leather chair back. The chairs have a carved )( stretcher and reeded and carved legs and arm rests

In good sound condition we have a pair of very good quality and comfortable Walnut Library chairs
The chair backs are 46” high, the front is 22” wide, 21” deep
