Pair of early 19th.c. French Empire style walnut open armchairs c.1830. Solid walnut frames with curved cresting rail and shaped rear stiles. Shaped arms with scrolling terminals carved as papyrus flowers. Sprung seat raised on shaped front legs. Clean and serviceable covers in rust brown chenille with brass studs. Good mellow colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
