Pair of framed Regency Fashion Plates - Head Dress
This is a pair of original early Regency fashion plates from the "Magazine of Female Fashions of London and Paris", which first appeared in 1798 and continued until 1806. The 110 issues were bound into three volumes: 1798-1800 1801-03 and 1804-06. The Magazines were "Printed for R Phillips of 71 St Paul's Church Yard".
These two engravings with later hand-colouring depicting head dresses are displayed within ivory mounts with gold line and pretty gilded wooden frames. Labels are attached to reverse providing information about the publication from which these plates were removed.
Dimensions: Frame 31.5 x 23 cm, Image (mount internal) 21 x 12.5 cm
Condition: The prints are in excellent condition. The frames being relatively new are also in immaculate condition.
Postage & packing: £8 within the UK. Please contact us for a postal quote if you would like the pair sent abroad.
If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase from Torr Antiques & Decorative Arts please contact us within 7 days of receipt. A full refund will be provided once the item is received in the condition in which it was sent. Buyer pays return postage. I regret that we cannot accept returns for items shipped outside the UK.
