Fine pair of late 19th.c gothic or medieval revival ‘Glastonbury’ armchairs c.1890. In solid oak with the distinctive shaped arms and X frame legs typical of the form. Crisp carved detail to the arms and backrest which also carries a monogram within a quatrefoil cartouche. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
