An interesting late 19th or early 20th Century pair hall or desk chairs. The unusual castellated tops between carved foliage and centred with a shield shaped carved portrait of man to one chair and a lady to the other. The shaped arms are supported on turned columns with hand dyed re-upholstered leather seats and brass studded detail. The chairs are raised on turned front legs joined with a serpentine shaped carved frieze and out-swept back legs. Both in very good condition and ready for use in the home or office. Dimensions:- Height…34.5’’/ 87.5cm. Width…22.75’’/ 58cm. Depth…20’’/ 51cm. Seat Height…19.25’’/ 49cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £55.
