Very decorative pair of English 19th century black lacquered moulded pier mirrors with gilt slips, circa 1880.
Originally, these were picture frames, hence the new mirrors…they have been fitted with mirrored acrylic under their original glass.
Great pair of frames hanging well as a set of two, but also individually flanking a vase or bronze on a console table for example.
Priced as a pair.

20 inches or 50cm high
9 1/2 inches or 24cm wide
Aperture:
15 1/2 inches or 39.5cm high
5 inches or 12.5cm wide Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!

Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
