Very smart & elegant pair of antique Swedish armchairs in satin birch, dating from around the 1910 period or possibly earlier. They have tub shaped backs & sabre legs. There are some small inlaid motives on the tops of all the legs, back & front. These chairs have just been polished & re-upholstered in a neutral coloured, stain resistant fabric, so they are in great condition. They would look equally good in modern or traditional room settings, plus they have very generous proportions.
