Fabulous pair of antique Swedish armchairs with quite wide proportions & in very good condition. The previous owner bought these in a London antique shop about 25 years ago & just had them re-upholstered, so the fabric is perfect. The polished frame is burr walnut all over the insides, plus on the paneled back & sides. They are top quality & very stylish. The two feather filled cushions are best used as scatter cushions on the backs. Not sure of the exact age, because I haven’t come across a model like these before. However, I would say they date from the 1930-50’s period.
