A wonderful and very charming pair of Victorian Tazzas or Comports the heavy stands are made from silver plate with a central Cherub or Putti figure. Both are topped with the original (and perfect) top notch crystal dishes, beautifully engraved and a scalloped edge, very tactile and superb quality.

Each of the stands is marked for the silversmith, Pryor Tyzack and Co. of Sheffield. This mark was used for a relatively short period from 1860 to 1863, so allows us to date it fairly accurately.

A magnificent and scare pair in superb condition. Each dish measures 9 1/4" in diameter the stand measures 7 3/4" tall and 9 1/2" with tall with the glass dishes in place.
