Pair of Antique French Gilt Wood Salon Armchairs
Pair of antique French gilt wood salon armchairs in fabulous original condition, with just about the right amount of wear to the guiding. They have just been re-upholstered in a cream cotton linen fabric with double piping & new feather cushions. These chairs have plenty of intricate carvings on the tops, between & on the legs. They do have quite a bit of age & I would date them to around the 1850-60’s period. The feather cushions have just been made & I think they will flatten down a bit after a while.
