This fabulous pair of antique side chairs are ebonised with various intricate gilded decoration. They are in excellent original condition & they don’t look like they have ever been touched restoration or polish wise. They are sturdy & the cane seats are also perfect. Please enlarge & brighten up all the images, because there is a lot of fine decoration on the backs & around the seats, which isn’t too noticeable in the images, which are a bit on the dark side. I’m not sure of the exact age. They could be Victorian or a bit later. There is a makers or sellers name & address imprinted into the under-side of the seats. These chairs have lovely proportions with wide seats & well turned legs. The backs are decorative too with cross bars & finials on the tops.
