A pair of English, ebonised antique side chairs. Made around 1870-80 in the Aesthetic Movement. Both antique side chairs are newly re-upholstered in a quality black striped ticking fabric. All the ebonised and gilt decoration is original. The brass and pot castors are stamped, 'copes patent'. A good quality pair of antique side chairs, both are in very good, strong condition.
