Fabulous pair of large painted pine estate office cabinets c.1880. Believed to be originally from the vast Glynllifon estate (formerly belonging to the Lords Newborough) near Caernarfon here in North Wales. A good looking pair of cabinets with panelled doors and shaped mouldings. Typical of the form the interiors are divided into pigeon holes of various sizes originally intended for the filing of estate papers, rent books etc. They would make superb shop fittings or storage for a collection of wine, shoes, music etc. Presented here in unrestored condition, perfectly usable but missing some mouldings, the cornice from one of the cabinets and the plinth from the other.
