A pair of 19th Century ladies and gentleman’s walnut chairs in the art’s and craft style, both chairs comprising of shield back frames which have lovely carved detail at the top, upholstered in a brown leather with deep buttoned padded backs with stud work decoration, with the armchair having padded arms with carved scrolls and finials, a cushioned seat supported on rear swept legs and turned and carved front legs terminating on brass castors. Circa 1870.
