Pair of 19th Century Metal Roof Ventilation Turret
This decorative pair of ventilation turrets are from the 19th century. The octagonal design has arched openings and a pagoda style roof. Above are weathervanes that enable the function of the turrets - to turn them with the wind, so warm air escapes and cold air is prevented from entering. Their condition is good, with damage only to the bases, where some of the scrolled edges are deteriorated or missing.
