Pair Of 18th Century Antique Paintings

A refined pair of antique paintings from the first half of the 18th century. Oil on canvas artworks depicting splendid romantic scenes, a banquet with gentlemen, and a dance scene during a party. The clothing is in early 18th-century fashion, and the composition is set in a splendid garden.
The subject matter and pictorial style are attributable to the body of work of the Flemish painter Jean Baptist Lambrechts (1680-1731). Appreciated for his fine brushwork and detailed compositions, he worked in Antwerp and specialized in elegant genre scenes, becoming a master of the Guild of Saint Luke (the paintings are not currently accompanied by an expert opinion, but one can be requested upon payment of the relevant additional costs).
The artworks are presented in two elegant 19th-century frames in finely carved and gilded wood, with some signs of age. Rare paintings of remarkable pictorial quality, ideal for refined, classical or contemporary settings, perfect for prestigious professional studios. The paintings have already been restored with re-lining, replacement of the stretcher, and re-coloring in small areas. Overall, in good condition. Internal dimensions: H 33 x W 28.5 cm. As each of our products will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and warranty and photographic documentation. Every item will be packed in a custom-made wooden box. Free shipping in Europe and UK (import and custom duties NOT included). Worldwide shipping at affordable prices, ask us a shipping quote. BUY IN INSTALLMENTS INTEREST FREE.
