Very handsome pair of mid 19th.c. Gothic style oak and leather armchairs c.1860. Low bow shaped roll over backrests and arms on beautifully turned oak spindles over a generously proportioned sprung seat raised on square chamfered front legs and out swept rear legs both retaining their original brass and ceramic castors. Very good quality vintage black leather upholstery and brass studs. Note also the ebonised detail to the spindles and legs. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
