Two lovely wine glasses delicately hand painted with cyclamen and leaves attributed by style and quality to Hannah and/or Helen Walton.

Hannah Walton worked from the family home in Hillhead, Glasgow where her sister Helen had established her studio in 1881. The sisters specialised in this type of painting on commercial glassware. Hannah and Helen were sisters of George Walton the Glasgow School designer.

They stand 21.5cm high, and are delicately hand painted with cyclamen. Both are in excellent condition and free from any damage. Both have gilding to the top rims which is all intact - one has gilding intact to the base and one the gilding has rubbed off.
