Price is for the pair. An elegant pair of Georgian “country chippnedale” side chairs on square tapered legs supported by stretchers. Substantial and sturdy chairs with lots of charm and character along with a rich warm patina they have shaped top rails and pierced back splats. The seats have been newly reupholstered in a jacquard fabric with green leaf design on a cream ground. Dating from second half of the 18th Century.

Wear and marks commensurate with age. Solid sturdy frames. Newly reupholstered. Quite a few old worm holes which have been treated with worm killer as a precaution.
