Pair of Hepplewhite Chairs - Prince of Wales Feathers - c1780

A fine pair of English Hepplewhite chairs in mahogany dating from c1780.

With classic shape and proportion this pair present stunningly. Recently professionally upholstered to a high standard with a quality cream textile and a double pipe finish.

The attention to detail within the back-rest of the chairs discloses the quality of the craftsman. Exquisite design incorporating wonderful raised mouldings give way to the magnificent central carving display of the Prince of Wales Feathers.

Rising from spade feet with elegant taper to the leg into an overstuffed seat the chairs offer comfortable seating. With a seat height of 45cm (17.7") and excellent construction they are suitable for regular use.

Very desirable neo-classical lines and superb proportion ensure pair of chairs which will display beautifully in any location.
