A pair of elegant antique Edwardian tub chairs in mellow mahogany with stringing and inlay. They have rail backs, shaped arms and stand on tapered legs culminating in spade feet. The top rail is inlaid with a medallion of rosewood with inlay. They have been newly reupholstered in a brocade fabric. Dating from circa 1910. Very solid and sturdy but lots of marks, scuffs, bumps and bruises to the frames with lots of wear to the legs and feet.

Lots of marks, scuffs, bumps and bruises to the frames with lots of wear to the legs and feet (see photos). Very solid and sturdy. Newly reupholstered. An old mend to one of the rails (see photo). A black mark/knot to the back leg of one chair.
