A very decorative pair of antique late Victorian balloon back chairs in walnut. They have ornately carved and pierced backs, stuff-over seats and stand on shaped and turned front legs. The seats have been newly reupholstered. A very decorative pair of high quality chairs dating from circa 1890.
Construction/Wood:
Walnut.
Condition Report:
Good original condition. Solid frames. Lovely age and patina. Wear and marks commensurate with age. Newly reupholstered. A small old mended split to the corner of the front seat rail of one chair, solid.
