A very good quality and unusual pair of antique Victorian Arts and Crafts hall chairs in oak. In an Arts and Crafts/Aesthetic Movement design, in the manner of Bruce Talbert, they are stamped underneath and have paper labels: “G R Hudson Cabinet Maker &C., King Street Leeds”. They have solid seats, and nicely carved backs with gothic motifs. They stand on turned legs united by stretchers. A really good quality pair of chairs with lots of details and carving and in good condition with warm colour and good patina. Dating from circa 1890.

Good condition. Solid and sturdy frames. Good colour and patina. A few small scuffs and scarthces to frames commensurate with age.
