Circa 1930s, oak framed neat Orkney chair. The dark stained oak features the classic hand woven back finished in marram grass over a removable rattan seat. The arms with a slight curl to the ends are held in position by narrow uprights screwed to the sides. All standing on four simple, square tapering legs united by cross stretchers.
