Excellent oil on canvas with a vibrant maritime scene featuring classic tall ships on a lively sea. c1990

The artist Jan Adamson has delivered mood to the piece combined with detailed brushwork to produce a painting in which the motion of the ship can be felt. The rigging and sails are pleasingly crafted with lovely attention to detail.
