This is an original Japanese woodblock print of a kabuki actor by Utagawa Kunisada (Toyokuni III, 1786-1865), Edo Period c.1847-52. It depicts the actor in the role of Ashikaga Yoshihisa in Higashiyama Sakura Soshi.

Dimensions: Height 35.5 cm by Width 25 cm

Condition: The print is a good impression, slightly faded with several small holes. It is attached at the top corners to a thin yellowed card.
