Oriental Carved Screen, Archway Frame, Bordered Pelmet

The top of the frame has a fruit laden basket hanging at the centre, as we look at the outer edges we see luscious forrest fruits and charming song birds
The frame is in a hard wood and the outer edge is a dark burgundy colour, the intricate carvings inside are painted in gold, a lot of the gold is worn away but this adds character to the whole piece
This is a beautifully carved piece, in the very finest detail we see Love Birds, a multitude of leaves and plants
The frame is in generally good condition, with very minor chips but nothing noticeable, it comes in 3 pieces the overall size is 62” high, 79” wide and about 5” in depth
