Just back from our silversmith's workshop where this superb Art Deco Champagne bucket / wine cooler has been professionally cleaned and polished, restoring it to it's former glory.

This example was made for the Morlant Champagne company, which dates it to the 1930's. On both sides, the bucket is engraved "Orfevrerie Christofle Morlant (de la Marne) Reims".

Christofle is a luxury goldsmith and tableware company, founded in Paris in 1830 by Charles Christofle, makers of the most prestigious and sought-after silver plated table wares.

Excellent condition measuring 9 1/4" handle to handle x 7 1/2" x 8 1/4" tall.
