An impressive hand carved weathered English oak plaque of the Green Man. Ideal for indoor/outdoor decoration. Carved oak leaf, birds and acorn surround the central character. A difficult piece to date, but most probably mid century. Height 29cm, width 48cm and a weight of 3.8kg
The green man is synonymous with renewal in pagan religions.
