A vintage oak two drawer desk or side/console table by Gordon Russell stamped AM (Air Ministry) 1957 along with the Gordon Russell stamp underneath the top.

It’s a good stylish mid-century piece in English Cotswold School design, a good size with two drawers offering a generous workspace as a computer desk or writing table. In a well-toned oak, with a moulded top and chamfered legs united by a cross stretcher.

The desk has enjoyed a hand re-polish in our workshop to enhance and bring out the grain of the oak. We do have a couple of faded marks to the top and the drawers are running smoothly with the little original turned oak knobs in place. It sits firm with no repairs or wobbles.

A great looking desk/side table from one of British’s best known makers.

When purchasing from us we include delivery within mainland UK, excluding Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Isles, in the purchase price and liaise with you to ensure delivery is as swift and as smooth as possible. We try our best to deliver within 14 working days. Please call or email for quotes to Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isles and for World-wide shipping.

Items are delivered by private courier, usually this is a one man service. If you require a two person delivery, please let us know. Smaller items are wrapped and packed (into recycled boxes where possible) and sent via a national courier service, tracking details will be provided once an item has been collected from us.

Terms and conditions

If you are not happy with an item you have 14 days to return it. This is providing that the item is returned, in the condition it left us, within 14 days. Please note that items must be wrapped and insured, with the return cost being covered by you. Once the item is back with us, having had a once over in the workshop, your refund will be issued.

On the rare occasion that an item is damaged in transit, please notify us immediately or within 48 hours and provide us with details and images so we can best remedy the situation.
