A handsome large inkwell standing on it's original solid English Oak base retaining the four original bun feet and leather covering to the underside.

The hefty piece of crystal used to make this late Victorian inkwell is deeply hand-cut on the underside. The collar and hinged lid is made from polished brass with top featuring a wonderful Owl's face with original glass eyes and exceptional detail.

Victorian in era, it date to c.1890/1900. The entire piece measures 4 1/4" x 4 3/8" x 4 1/2" tall the inkwell measuring 3" x 3" x 3 5/8" tall.
