Description: Ancient Neapolitan sculpture depicting the Immaculate Madonna.

The sculpture has a terracotta head with crystal eyes and polychrome wooden hands and feet.

The Virgin has a silver bronze crown.

The Virgin is depicted in her classic attitude as she crushes the dragon and is flanked by a host of gherubim.

Two putti appear to be coeval with the same.

The clothes worn by time are coeval.

Provenance: Naples 19th century.

Measurements: Height 105cm.
