Napoleon III French Gilt Cushion Mirror

This is a good example of Mirrors of this type, the centre Glass is Framed with smaller angled mirrors all around

There is an elaborate Gesso and Gilt Shell Crest on the top of the mirror and the frame is decorated with leaves and fruits

The Mirrors are all original, with shaped bevelling, they are showing signs of their age with soft shadowy streaking, the frame is a good colour with some of the red oxide undercoat is showing through slightly

The Mirror frame is 45” high and 34” wide and 5” deep
