This is a wonderful pastel of a bi-coloured Tibetan Spaniel or Shih Tzu dog by the artist M. J. Evans, who has signed the pastel in the lower right hand corner.

There is a companion piece to the this pastel, which we will be listing in the near future.

Unfortunately, there is no biographical information available for the artist, although he or she have captured the subject in a masterly fashion.

The pastel has been newly double mounted in two tone acid free mountboard and is newly framed in a 1 1/8" dull silver frame to suit. It will be supplied wired and ready to hang.
