This is a very distinctive American Mid-Century Silver Plated Coffee Pot from around the 1960s. It is in a traditional Georgian style with a bulbous body, scroll handle, decorative finial and stands on four paw feet.

The coffee pot is made in the USA by the renowned silversmiths International Silver Company (ISC). The ISC was formed in Meriden, Connecticut in 1898 by the coming together of many smaller silver companies in the area. They quickly became a major force in American silver and silver plate, particularly in the interwar years. Although the brand name still exists, they ceased manufacturing in 1983.

Condition is very good with no dings or dents and only the most minimal superficial surface wear that is to be expected after over 50 years of service. Please make sure to view all the photographs.

The coffee pot stands 24.3cm / 9.5" high and is 19cm / 7.5" from spout to handle.

The inside of one leg is stamped I.S.Co. for International Silver Company.
