Antique large quality mid-19th Century overmantle or wall mirror. Could be hung in either portrait of landscape.
This is a lovely mirror, that is full of age, charm and character. Great patinated frame which has only had minor losses (some charming aging and cracking to the finishes) and touching up over the years... looks great.
An impressive and rare find, that would look amazing in the right location.
Later replacement mirrored glass which is in very good condition.
Overall maximum dimensions: 159cmH x 113cmW x 8cmD.
Mirrored glass size 139cmH x 82cmW.
Minor historic knocks, marks, wear and imperfections, as is to be expected with antique furniture. Later plywood back. Some historic extinct woodworm holes that have been treated for good measure.
