Please find on offer a pair of English stone skull Gargoyle's dating from the late Elizabethan period to the early 1600s.
This pair are extremely Rare and I doubt there are many like it anywhere else for sale.
Being gargoyle's they would have been placed on each corner of a building and used for the outlet of rain water through the skulls mouths, there could be another meaning to this flushing out the evil?
Approximate measurements are 10 inches high x 10.5 inches depth x 5 inches across.
Very heavy and UK postage only or pick up.
