A beautiful piece by the renowned Norwegian silversmith - in excellent condition.

This lovely piece combines the traditional Norwegian Solje technique with the understated, fine enamelling that is the signature of the maker. A circular pendant comprising delicate symmetrical silver filigree-work with a centre enamel button and six smaller buttons radiating - all surrounded by a ring of enamel and edged with more fine, beaded filigree-work. The pendant is suspended on an open oval jump ring. To the centre of the back is the Norwegian silver mark 830S (830 parts per thousand) and the makers mark for Marius Hammer. Diameter 31mm.

Excellent condition - There is nothing visible or material that detracts from aesthetics or function. The observations below are intended for completeness and transparency. See photos. The enamel is all intact. There are no splits, tears, losses or material deformation to the silver. The gilding is naturally worn, consistent with age and use.
I trade in small silver, jewellery and objets d'art. I sell primarily at antiques fairs and in cabinets in Christique Antique Centre in Dorking.
