Here we have a fine charming Marine Oil Painting in the Dutch Manner depicting rough seas of a view near Gorleston Pier Norfolk.

The painting is an oil on board set within a fine antique gilt and gesso decorative original frame.

to any viewer with an expert eye for such a scene, with the choppy seas and waves brilliantly depicted with amazing detail scale and colour, the very best in a maritime painting.

The Artist is Charles Beaty (1878- 1956).

Charles Beaty being a noted painter of Norwich and Norfolk marine scenes whose work is represented in a number of museum collections.

The painting is in very good order for the age with the colours crisp and vibrant, the frame is also tidy having only had the odd past minor repairs to beading which is unnoticeable.

Returns are accepted within 14 days of receipt if the item is found to have been misdescribed and the purchaser may be liable for the return costs subject to reasons for return.
Returns authorisation should be requested by sending an e-mail before posting.
