We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely impressionist oil on canvas by the American artist MARGARITA HAHN VIDAL, who has signed the painting M. Hahn Vidal in the lower right hand corner. The painting is a floral still life of a bouquet of anemones and mimosa and is executed in wonderful detail.

MARGARITA HAHN VIDAL, who was born in Hamburg, Germany in 1919, is an American artist who lives in New York and specialises in oil paintings of flowers, although she also paints landscapes. She is a Member of the American Artists Professional League. Her flower paintings have been sold as limited edition prints and she has also painted limited edition plates for Royal Doulton.

Her paintings achieve great success at auction and a similar sized painting as this one sold for $2875 in 2001. There are currently three paintings by this artist on Ebay.com at prices between $2,999 and $4,299.
