Mahogany Elbow Chair Early half of 1800s
A Handsome Mahogany Elbow / Carver chair, suitable for a desk or the end of a table. In superb repolished condition it has a reasuring amount of wear on the front stretcher, all of which give an improved strength to the legs. This example in a Chippendale style is much earlier than most that one sees and has the very very pleasing swept arm. A good example that can be upholstered to a clients exact requirement.
