Early 19th.c. mahogany cheval or dressing mirror on stand c.1830. Useful small size, just 25½" wide. 17" x 41" mirror plate with a bevelled edge in a crossbanded mahogany frame. Angle adjustable on a solid mahogany stand with turned knobs to hold the mirror in place. Quality stand with the moulded detail and turned roundels repeated front and rear. Joined with turned stretchers and raised on swept legs with the original brass barrel castors. Some tarnish to the mirror which could be replaced if preferred. Otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
