A fabulous and unusual late Victorian or Edwardian desk clip incorporating a perpetual calendar behind the glazed aperture. The base is made of solid polished Mahogany. The hinged clip showcases the exceptional quality of this piece, made from really solid gilded brass and a strong sprung hinge.

All the cards required for the perpetual calendar are present. Dating to around 1900, this magnificent desk top piece remains in excellent condition. The footprint measures 6 1/2" x 5 3/8" the calendar measuring 5 3/8" x 3 5/8".
