A fabulous example of an Edwardian salad bowl made from solid English Oak and silver plate. What of course makes this a particularly special example is the wonderful horn handles to each side and the wonderful servers each with horn handles.

The footed bowl has a vacant shield mount to both front and back. The original ceramic liner has stood the test of time without damage and lovely to have a mark on the underside for Wiltshaw and Robinson of Stoke on Tretn under the trade mark of "Carlton Ware".

A superb piece in excellent condition dating to around 1900.

The bowl spans 15" handle to handle with a rim diameter measuring 9 1/2" x 7 1/2" tall.
